The Aquila and Priscilla Homilies

The Aquila and Priscilla Homilies begins with a reflection on the way the love of God is revealed to us. It concludes that the love of God is perfectly revealed in Jesus Christ, who is our Lord. As such, we need to follow him. We need to respond to Jesus’ call to repent and believe in the good news. The reflection then shifts to the two great commandments of loving God and loving one’s neighbor. This is followed by a homily on marriage and family as part of God’s loving plan. In the last three homilies, the author focuses on the work of the Holy Spirit. Through the power of the Holy Spirit and the intercession of the Blessed Mother, who is the spouse of the Spirit and the Star of evangelization, we are to make disciples of all nations.

The purpose of the book is to inspire and admonish the readers to discover the joy of knowing Jesus Christ in a more personal way, and through the power of the Holy Spirit bring others to the same personal relationship with Christ.
