Vol 6 Issue 1
My portion is the Lord, says my soul, therefore will I hope in him
Lam 3:24
Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,
The events of the past few weeks prompted us to resume our reflections “Letters of Aquila and Priscilla”. This is the first issue this year.
We begin with a general reflection on the Book of Lamentations. During the next five months, we will share with you our reflections on each of the five chapters of the Book of Lamentations, each chapter being a poem. Please continue to pray that our reflections will constantly be inspired and guided by the Holy Spirit and that they may remain relevant to our life and mission in CFC and prophetic to guide us as we seek the will of God for each of us and our community.
May God continue to pour out his blessings on all of you!
With our love and prayers,
JUN and JEAN

Let love be sincere
Rom 12:9
Dear brothers and sisters,
Like many of you, we have experienced “dark spiritual nights” as a result of the problems besetting the community. It was necessary for us to hold on to the Lord, to persevere in prayer and listen to His Word in Scriptures. Profound reflection became difficult, since there was always the temptation to react to the “emails” that have not stopped circulating. Thus, this is only the 5th issue and it is already the 11th month. But God truly is faithful! He never abandons us. He is always there. He slowly heals. He gradually brings us out of desolation into consolation. And then we feel His love even more fervently. His is a love that is truly sincere!
With our love and prayers,

Go first and be reconciled with your brother, and then come and offer your gift
Mt 5:24
Dear brothers and sisters,
We wish to share with you what has been the subject of our reflections during the past few months. May God, in his infinite mercy and love, grant us the gift of courage and humility! May God protect our community from the subtle deception of the evil one! Mary, our Mother of Perpetual Help, pray for our community!

A Savior has been born for you
Lk 2:11
Dear brothers and sisters,
As we celebrate Advent and anticipate the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, we would like to share with you our joy and make known the goodness of the Lord.
This Christmas, let us specially thank God for the gift of family – our parents, brothers, sisters, children and grandchildren – and the gift of friends, both those in the community of Couples for Christ and those in our offices, business and professional groups, and areas of residence.
May your Christmas be as special as ours as our Messiah and Lord becomes truly incarnate in our homes and families! A blessed and merry Christmas to all!
With our love and prayers,
JUN and JEAN

By their fruits you will know them
Mt 7:20
Dear brothers and sisters,
As our community faces it biggest challenge, and as we see the early signs of a possible break-up of our community, let us continue to pray – and pray very hard – that God will keep our community united and whole. By sharing with you our reflections and thoughts, we are making an appeal for concerted prayer and supplication to God, who is All-powerful, to act now and touch the hearts of the two people who can immediately help end this current conflict. With God’s grace of humility and self-sacrifice, our prayers for unity in the community can be realized.
We ask everyone to offer their nightly family rosary for this one intention.
May God bless us all!
With our love and prayers,
JUN and JEAN
